Many have asked.. and still ask.. Why did I sketch this man of all?? :P
Probably, I liked the happiness spread across his face, his sweater.. those wrinkles.. and so, I sat to draw this one!

Time: 2-2.5 hrs

seriously...y this man of all the others????...and ya..i need not say specifically that this sketch is "awesome" because i have seen many of urs and ur pencil sketching and painting skills are known to me..... given and pencil and paper...u can do wonders!!!!...

I think the best pencil sketch that you've made. Every detail of his face is present in the sketch. May be it would have been easier for you as you might have got to see a big poster of the man himself. Anyway Awesome stuff!! Very Good!!
