Of Charcoal

So lovely was the loneliness
Of a wild lake, with black rock bound,
And the tall pines that tower'd around.

This is my first charcoal drawing ever. Thanks Bavya! for this lovely gift of yours. :) I wasn't too sure how to use it. Initially tried the same technique as with graphite pencils, but that proved to be a big fiasco. I really need to learn the proper technique before I do my next drawing . This one was roughly done - I used my index finger to smudge the charcoal to form the clouds.
